TASCAM ML-4D/OUT-E
Brian Long
Introduction
The TASCAM ML-4D/OUT-E is a compact four-channel Dante-to-analog converter with an integrated DSP mixer, designed to deliver network audio to amplifiers, powered loudspeakers, processors, recorders, and other analog equipment. Four Dante audio channels can be converted to four balanced line-level outputs, with installation-friendly Euroblock connectors providing secure analog connections for permanent professional AV systems.
Beyond straightforward Dante-to-analog conversion, the ML-4D/OUT-E incorporates a 4-in/4-out matrix mixer with flexible routing and dedicated output processing for each zone. Built-in EQ, filtering, delay, limiting, ducking, ambient noise compensation, scene storage, PoE, AES67 compatibility, and software-based control make it well suited to conference facilities, education, hospitality, houses of worship, theaters, corporate AV, retail, and other distributed audio installations.
