Introduction
The TASCAM MM-2D-E is a compact mic/line and Dante converter with an integrated DSP mixer, designed for professional networked audio installations. Two balanced mic/line inputs with remotely controllable preamps and +48V phantom power can feed the Dante network, while two balanced line outputs provide analog connectivity for amplifiers, powered speakers, processors, and other installed audio equipment. The MM-2D-E also provides four Dante input and four Dante output channels for flexible network routing.
The Euroblock version is particularly well suited to permanent installations in conference facilities, education, hospitality, houses of worship, broadcast environments, corporate AV, and other commercial systems. Built-in matrix mixing, EQ, compression, ducking, ambient noise compensation, delay, limiting, scene storage, PoE operation, AES67 compatibility, and software-based remote control allow the MM-2D-E to function as much more than a simple analog-to-Dante interface.
