Introduction

The TASCAM IF-DA2 is a two-channel Dante network audio interface card designed for the TASCAM SS-R250N solid-state recorder and SS-CDR250N solid-state/CD recorder. Installing the card adds Dante audio input and output, allowing these professional recorders to exchange digital audio with compatible mixers, DSP processors, converters, interfaces, and other Dante-enabled equipment over standard Ethernet infrastructure.

Designed for broadcast, commercial audio, education, houses of worship, corporate AV, and other installed systems, the IF-DA2 provides primary and secondary Ethernet connectors that can be configured for redundant Dante networking or switched operation. Dante Controller software provides routing and configuration of network audio, including sampling frequency, bit depth, and latency settings.

  • Configurable Bit Depth: Network audio bit depth can be configured to match compatible Dante equipment.

  • Integrated Power: Receives operating power from the host recorder, so no separate external power supply is required.
  • Dedicated Dante Status Indicators: Ethernet connections provide link and status indication for network setup and troubleshooting.
