Introduction

The TASCAM BO-16DX/OUT is a professional 16-channel analog output breakout box that converts two high-density 25-pin D-sub connections into sixteen individually accessible balanced XLR outputs. It provides a convenient way to connect multichannel converters, interfaces, recorders, and other D-sub-equipped equipment to mixing consoles, amplifiers, powered loudspeakers, processors, patching systems, and other professional analog audio equipment.

Designed as an ideal companion for products such as the TASCAM ML-16D and ML-32D analog/Dante converters, the BO-16DX/OUT can also be used with the SERIES 8p Dyna and other equipment using compatible TASCAM/AES59-2012 D-sub wiring. Its completely passive design requires no power, while the rugged 1U metal chassis, standard XLR connections, reversible rack ears, and upside-down-readable labeling make it well suited to broadcast, recording, post-production, live sound, mobile production, and professional AV systems.
